Ben has a big noggin. I picked up a size 24 month hat for him when he was 11 months and he got about 5 weeks use out of it before outgrowing it. So I decided to invest in a
sunhat pattern on Etsy and make him a hat myself. It's nice because the pattern includes several sizes, so I can make bigger hats as he grows. For a couple dollars worth of fabric, little man can have all the hats he could ever need! The weather in Tucson is
gorgeous right now, so I brought my sewing machine outside and worked while Ben played in the sandbox.

| "What on earth? Mama, I look like a weirdo!" |
 |
| "Oh, that's better now." |

| This one is a cute green giraffe/dinosaur/turtle (??) print with a solid khaki lining. |
 |
| It's reversible, too. |
 |
| I made him another hat with a tie underneath, but I decided to make this one without. He's good about keeping it on so far. |
