A Cool Opportunity

Ben and I had the opportunity to get our photo taken this past week. What was the occasion, you ask? Well, Micha of Westlight Photography is putting together a coffee table book for the birth center here in Tucson. She asked for birth center mamas/babies to volunteer, and of course we jumped at the opportunity.

We took our photos at a local park. The acacia tree was in full bloom, and I really like how this photo turned out.

Ben had just woken up from a five-minute cat nap and was feeling apprehensive about having his photo taken. Micha took a few photos and then let him look at them in hopes that he would warm up to the camera a bit.

It worked!
P.S. Ben now has five teeth, but the fifth isn't showing in photos just yet. It's still pretty high up there.

 

 

 

Micha is trying to get a variety of photos for the book, and we happily obliged with an in-car photo. Did you notice Ben's reflection in the window? Yah, she's good!
